희로애락(喜怒哀樂) 展은 사람들의 마음을 인물 표정을 통해 들여다본다. 얼굴은 인간의 신체 부위 중 변화가 가장 많은 곳이다. 세상을 살아가면서 겪는 갖가지 일을 통하여 느끼는 모든 감정은 인간의 얼굴 표정으로 응축되며, 사실적 재현과 묘사에서 더 나아가 인간의 본질까지 담고 있는 것이다. 이번 전시에서는 시공간을 넘어 표출되지 못한 내면세계와 여러 다양한 인물초상에서 삶의 희로애락을 느낄 수 있으며 우리의 익숙한 관점과 편견을 살펴볼 수 있다.
